At Bigleaf Networks, I spearheaded a strategic facelift for the company’s branding, primarily focusing on refreshing the logo’s color palette. Challenge

The challenge arose from the outdated nature of the original logo, which failed to convey the technology-driven essence of Bigleaf Networks. The existing design gave off a natural and unrelated vibe, more reminiscent of a skincare product than a cutting-edge IT networking solution. Addressing this misalignment while adhering to a budget-conscious approach became a pivotal challenge in the rebranding process.

Being the sole designer responsible for the rebrand, I opted for a strategic approach by primarily focusing on recalibrating the color scheme of the logo. This not only modernized the visual identity but also ensured a cost-effective transition, leveraging the established brand recognition. Simultaneously, I worked diligently to distribute the rebranded materials company-wide and assumed the role of overseeing consistent brand implementation to prevent any inadvertent mistakes.

Beyond the logo, the comprehensive rebranding effort encompassed a new brand guide, letterhead, PowerPoint design, social media templates, trade show booth design, email signatures, website design updates, and additional corporate collateral.

Results

The results of the facelift were transformative, breathing new life into Bigleaf Networks’ brand without an exhaustive financial investment. The updated logo now resonates with the tech industry’s dynamic nature, effectively conveying the company’s position as a leading IT networking solution provider. By singularly managing the rebranding process and maintaining vigilance over brand consistency, I successfully navigated the transition, ensuring a cohesive and modern identity for Bigleaf Networks.
